   Day 01

   Arrival ↣ Negombo

   Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and enjoy private meet-and-greet assistance before a short transfer to an elegant boutique retreat beside the Negombo Lagoon. Settle into your surroundings and allow the first afternoon to unfold at an unhurried pace. As evening approaches, take a gentle walk beside the lagoon while the fading light settles across the water. End your first evening with a beautifully prepared seafood dinner in an intimate coastal setting.

   Day 02

   Negombo ↣ Sigiriya

   Travel inland through coconut plantations, village roads and peaceful countryside towards Sigiriya. Arrive at a refined nature retreat surrounded by tropical forest and tranquil lakes, creating a private setting in which to unwind.

   Spend the afternoon at leisure with poolside relaxation, quiet reading or an optional private wellness experience for two. As evening falls, enjoy dinner beneath lantern-lit trees, with Sri Lankan flavours and locally inspired ingredients creating a memorable introduction to the Cultural Triangle.

   Day 03

   Sigiriya: Romantic Exploration & Village Life

   Rise early for the climb of the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, when the softer morning light reveals beautiful views across the surrounding forests and ancient gardens. Return to your retreat for a leisurely breakfast and some unhurried time together. Later, discover a more intimate side of Sri Lanka through a private village experience featuring a traditional catamaran ride, local cooking and encounters with everyday village life. An optional sunset visit to Pidurangala Rock offers panoramic views towards Sigiriya before returning to your retreat for a quiet evening surrounded by tropical nature.

   Day 04

   Sigiriya ↣ Kandy

   Continue towards Kandy through spice-growing regions, forests and misty mountain landscapes. Stop at a traditional spice garden to discover the aromas and flavours that have shaped Sri Lankan cuisine for generations before continuing to your elegant hillside retreat overlooking Kandy. In the evening, visit the sacred Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and experience the atmosphere of its ceremonial rituals, traditional drumming and fragrant incense. Later, enjoy a quiet walk around Kandy Lake beneath the evening lights, with time to browse local craft stores and artisan spaces.

   Day 05

   Kandy ↣ Tea Country

   Journey deeper into Sri Lanka’s celebrated tea country, passing waterfalls, winding mountain roads and emerald plantations. Settle into a characterful colonial-era tea bungalow or refined estate retreat surrounded by gardens and misty valleys. Enjoy a private tea-tasting experience followed by a leisurely walk through the plantation, discovering the landscapes behind Ceylon Tea. As evening arrives, settle beside the fireplace for a cosy dinner featuring local flavours, fine wine and the peaceful atmosphere of the mountains.

   Day 06

   Scenic Train Journey ↣ Ella

   Transfer to Nanu Oya Railway Station and board the iconic hill-country train towards Ella. Travel through tea-covered hills, waterfalls, tunnels and misty valleys as the changing scenery becomes part of the experience. Arrive in Ella and check into a boutique hillside lodge overlooking the valley. As the sun begins to set, enjoy a glass of wine or a cocktail together while the mountains take on their evening glow.

   Day 07

   Ella: Mountain Romance

   Visit the beautiful Nine Arches Bridge, surrounded by dense greenery and tea-covered hills, before continuing with an optional gentle hike to Little Adam’s Peak for sweeping views across Ella Valley. Spend the afternoon discovering Ella’s relaxed café culture, small tea houses and artistic mountain atmosphere. For an especially intimate evening, choose an optional couples’ spa ritual, flower-bath experience or private sunset dining overlooking the valley before settling into a slow evening together.

8. 08

   Day 08

   Ella ↣ Yala

   Descend from the cool highlands towards Sri Lanka’s southern wilderness as the landscape changes from tea-covered mountains to dry-zone forests and open plains. Arrive at an intimate luxury safari camp near Yala National Park and settle into your wilderness surroundings. Later, set out on an afternoon safari through diverse wildlife habitats in search of elephants, leopards, crocodiles, peacocks, sloth bears and abundant birdlife. Return to camp for a private wilderness picnic or atmospheric bush-style dinner beneath the stars.

   February–July is generally favourable for wildlife viewing, subject to conditions.

9. 09

   Day 09

   Yala ↣ Tangalle

   Begin with an optional sunrise safari or enjoy an unhurried morning at camp, surrounded by the sounds of the wilderness. Continue towards Tangalle along Sri Lanka’s scenic southern coastline. Settle into an intimate beachfront retreat overlooking a secluded stretch of ocean. Spend the afternoon swimming, relaxing beneath the palms or simply enjoying time together by the sea, with an optional couples’ massage or private wellness ritual. End the day with a romantic candlelit dinner beside the Indian Ocean.

    Day 10

    Tangalle: Romance by the Ocean

    Keep the day deliberately unhurried, with time for swimming, reading, beach walks and quiet moments together. An optional whale-watching excursion can be arranged from the southern coast during the best seasonal period. Return to the retreat for an afternoon of spa treatments, ocean-view yoga or a private wellness experience. Watch the sunset together before enjoying an intimate dinner inspired by fresh coastal produce and Sri Lankan flavours.

    Whale watching is best from November–April, subject to sea and weather conditions.

11. 11

    Day 11

    Tangalle ↣ Galle

    Enjoy a leisurely morning overlooking the sea before travelling along the southern coastline towards historic Galle. Explore the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort, where colonial architecture, hidden courtyards, independent galleries, artisan boutiques and atmospheric cafés create one of Sri Lanka’s most romantic settings. Wander its cobbled streets together, stopping for coffee, photography, local crafts or a relaxed lunch. As evening falls, enjoy rooftop dining or an intimate heritage dinner within the fort walls, surrounded by warm lantern light and centuries of history.

    Day 12

    Galle ↣ Departure

    Enjoy a relaxed final morning in Galle with time for coffee at a charming café, boutique browsing or a final oceanfront walk. Depending on your flight schedule, continue towards Colombo with optional stops at lifestyle cafés, artisan stores or coastal viewpoints. Continue to Bandaranaike International Airport by private transfer for your onward journey. For late departures, an additional final overnight in Colombo can be arranged for greater comfort.
